Black Camel
(August 6, 2019)

For those that do not know the black camel is a reference to those who have passed on and are no longer with us.

Happy was one of the most dedicated members ever to be a Sudan Dunn Clown. He was at every parade and every meeting until failing health held him back. He is missed for his dry humor and sheepish grin. He helped set the standard for the unit in attendance and dedication. Clowning was a passion for him. His final arrangements were a testimate and tribute to his life, and he is sorely missed.

"Woodrow" was not a fancy dancer but he knew how to get a laugh as seen here in Myrtle Beach circa 2008. He was always there when the unit needed him. He left an empty spot within us, when the black camel visited.
